Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Services
Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services works to prevent and eliminate sexual violence and promote healing and empowerment for people of all genders and ages who are affected by rape, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, stalking and sexual harassment.
Office of Children & Family Services, Department of Health & Human Services
The Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) supports Maine’s children and their families by providing Children’s Behavioral Health, Child Welfare, Early Childhood, and Community Services.
Maine State Police

Maine Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Program
The Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Program provides training and technical assistance for healthcare providers that care for patients who have suffered sexual assault, and in the use of the Maine sex crimes kit for collection of evidence. This national model utilizes an interdisciplinary, community-based approach for the dignified and compassionate care and treatment of sexual assault patients.
